A system and a method for linking utility control devices are provided to link the utility control devices with each other to perform integrated control based on arbitrary situation. A method(40) for a tagged utility control device programmed to follow a utility control device having assumed control includes the steps of: receiving commands from other devices by using a receiver(401); when a control command is arrived, determining whether the command is a tagging completion command(402); when the command is the tagging completion command, completing a tagging mode for the device to receive the command from a temporary master; when the command is an actual command, determining whether the device is tagged by a user(403); and when the device is in the tagging mode, programming a switch to perform a function included in the control.
