<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper tray which excels in appearance by making cuts in the areas of the corners of the paper tray, thereby forming weak portions, and by generating cracks in the cuts deliberately, thereby preventing irregular cracks generated in conventional paper trays from occurring. <P>SOLUTION: The paper tray is composed of a bottom part, a side wall part, and a flange part. In the paper tray, two kinds of ruled lines of different lengths, which extend to the specific points of the side wall part from the edge of the blank, are formed in the areas of the corners of the paper tray of a blank obtained by processing a sheet of paper sheet into a specific shape. Of the two different kinds of ruled lines of different lengths, half or full cuts are made in the paper in the thickness direction so that the cuts extend from certain middle points of the long ruled lines to the boundary face between the bottom part and the side wall part.
