[Problem] To allow efficient and highly precise analysis of a large-scale and complex database. [Solution] Provided is a database analysis device 100, configured to comprise: a storage device 101 which stores a file of a database to be analyzed, and rules which define, according to data attributes of each column in the file, a linking of a plurality of columns or a segmenting of one column; and a computing device 104 which analyzes the data attributes of each column in the file with a prescribed algorithm, applies the rules to the data attributes which are obtained by the analysis, specifies each instance of information relating to the linking of data among the plurality of columns which agree with the rules or the segmenting of data in the one column which agrees with the rules, and, according to a user instruction with respect to the information, executes a process of the linking of the data among the plurality of columns or the segmenting of the data in the one column.
