In order to facilitate pen assembly operations, the connecting part, which is to be inserted in between the writing tip and the ink tube of a ball-point pen, comprises three successive portions, of which the rear or first portion (1), which is to be inserted in an ink tube (T), is essentially cylindrical, the intermediate or second portion, which is to be inserted in a shaft (C), has external ribs of small cross section, and the frontmost or third portion (7) has a cylindrical seat for a writing tip (P) formed by a small cylindrical tube with a ball at its frontmost end. <IMAGE>
