The base section (10) of a beehive has a hinged door at the rear, for access to the interior and a front shutter (31) at the bottom, for entry of the bees. Located by cover clips (38) is a tray (34) supporting rwo modular sections (40, 58) each with corner clips (50). The top section carries a honeycomb carrier beneath a top cover (76). Inside the bottom sectionm are vertically-supported nesting frames and inside the upper sections are vertically supported honeycomb frames. The frames slide along horizontal supports on the sides of the sections. Attached to the bottom of the base section are longitudinal supporting strips (30). The tray has an opening connecting the base and lower modular sections (10, 40). ADVANTAGE - Good conditions are ensured.
