ELECTROSTATIC PAPER FEEDING DEVICE AND MANUFACTURE OF PAPER-FEEDING ROTATIONAL BODY

PURPOSE:To stably feed sheets with simple constitution and with necessary power and environmental variation reduced, by providing a frictional electrification member, which is brought into contact with a surface layer of a paper-feeding rotational body, having first and second surface layers different in an electrification train, to cause frictional electrification, and in which the electrification train exists between the first and second surface layers. CONSTITUTION:A paper-feeding rotational body 1, having first and second surface layers 14a and 15a, is contacted with a frictional electrification member 4 while rotating, and is frictionally electrified with the frictional electrification member 4. At that time, an electrification train has the order of the first surface layer 14athe frictional electrification member 4>the second surface layer 15a, and the first and the second surface layers 14a and 15a are made minus or plus electrification. This causes the generation of electric lines (a) of force on the surface of the paper-feeding rotational body 1, and the uppermost paper 5a of piled sheets is drawn to the paper-feeding rotational body 1 to be moved in a carrying direction with the rotation of the paper-feeding rotational body 1. Sheets are separated from the rotational body with a separation member.
