HORIZONTALLY DEELECTED ASYMMETRICAL DISTORTION CORRECTING CIRCUIT

PURPOSE:To automatically correct the symmetrical distortions and to omit the control jobs by detecting the asymmetrical distortions of the horizontally deflected current and controlling the negative resistance connected to a horizontal deflecting coil based on the error between the distortion detection output and the reference voltage. CONSTITUTION:A symmetrical distortion detector means 100 outputs the distortion value from an operational amplifier 143 via a divider 141 and based on the outputs of the positive and negative maximum value detecting parts 12 and 13. Then the distortion value is compared with the reference voltage by an error detector 200. Thus the error output is obtained in response to the distortion value and given to a negative resistance means 300. The resistance value of the means 300 is controlled so that the distortions are cancelled. Thus, the control jobs are omitted and the system reliability can be improved.
