The electrical pin connector has a first connector half (1), with an integrated operating slider (2) provided by an elongated element with an operating device at one end and a complementary connector half (21), with which the operating slider cooperates for coupling the connector halves. At least one pin (23,24) is moved along a curved guide slot or channel (17) by the slider movement, in one direction during assembly of the connector and in the opposite direction during the connector separation.
