HYDRODYNAMIC INSECT BAITS

Hydrodynamic baits for the control of orthopterous insects are disclosed whi ch contain an attractant, a humectant and a gel former. The baits are designed to function in harsh and/or dynamic microclimates such as for example commercia l kitchens or outdoor environments subject to typical circadian influences suc h as temperature and moisture. A further advantage of the disclosed baits is their lack of attractiveness to mammals.
