PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a degradable resin composition being stable in use and degradable rapidly when disposed. SOLUTION: This degradable resin composition comprises a hydrolyzable biodegradable polymer and at least one of acid-generating and base-generating compounds by light or heat. The degradable resin composition generates an acid or a base in a resin by photoirradiation and/or heat treatment at a fixed time to promote a polymer degradation and can control a polymer degradation rate by controlling the amount of the acid or the base generated.
