<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dashing type connector responding to a high speed signal transmission in which property compensation between high impedance zones can be made and matching of the property impedance of the whole connector can be performed. <P>SOLUTION: In the connector, which comprises contacts 11, 12 and an insulator 1 for fixing the contacts 11, 12, the contacts 11, 12 are provided with a first contact terminal 11 and a second contact terminal 12. The first contact terminal 11 comprises an engagement part 11a for connecting to a mating contact, a mounting terminal part 11b for connecting to the connecting object, and a spring part 11c which connects the engagement part 11a and the mounting part 11b and displaces elastically. The second contact terminal 12 is arranged opposed to the first contact terminal 11 corresponding to it and when engaged with a connecting partner, the second contact terminal 12 contacts the spring part of the first contact terminal 11 and becomes a stub terminal, and further, the second contact terminal 12 is held by the insulator 1 detachably. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
