<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a macromolecule-fixed Lewis acid catalyst which can act on the generality of reactive substrates in organic synthesis reactions such as an aldol reaction and Michael reaction and realize excellent reactivity in an underwater reaction. <P>SOLUTION: This hydrophobic polymer-fixed Lewis acid catalyst is constituted so that a metallic Lewis acid group is deposited connectively on an aromatic ring of a hydrophobic macromolecule consisting mainly of an aromatic polymer at a deposition rate in which the metallic Lewis acid group is controlled through a SO<SB>3</SB>group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
