PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of setting an area ordinary expected as a touch area as an initial value on a mobile component.SOLUTION: The touch area setting method includes: a coordinate acquisition step to acquire coordinates for each image of a component part as an object of touch operation displayed on a touch panel from plural images that the components shift to different positions respectively; an area calculation step to calculate a touch area on each of the images from the coordinates of the respective images acquired in the coordinate acquisition step; and a touch area determination step to determine the coordinates of the touch area on the touch panel by calculating a sum set of the touch areas the respective images calculated in the area calculation step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
