PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus capable of easily entering a network without generating unnecessary processing after completing registration of a piece of unique information.SOLUTION: A communication apparatus 200b performs an entry processing int a communication network which is managed by an authentication station 400 by using a controller 100. The communication apparatus 200b includes: a communication section that communicates with the controller 100; a storage storing a piece of unique information for identifying the communication apparatus 200b; and a control unit that executes an entry processing including: a first processing S103 to make a request to register the unique information on an authentication station 400 by transmitting the information unique to the communication section to the controller 100; and a second processing S 121 to connect to the authentication station 400 by using the unique information. When the communication section receives a standby request from the controller 100 after executing the first processing, the control unit suspends the entry processing without starting the second processing S121.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
