PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for side wall excellent in processability while maintaining excellent ozone resistance and capable of enhancing a tensile physical property.SOLUTION: There is provided a rubber composition for side wall containing 100 pts.mass of a diene rubber, 10 to 120 pts.mass of carbon black and 3 to 30 pts.mass of acid modified polyolefin having the melting point of 100 to 150°C, where a main chain of the acid modified polyolefin is a single polymer of olefin and a pneumatic tire using the same for a side wall.SELECTED DRAWING: None
