<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend a period for allowing an undried paste to be preserved as it is in a packaging material and to extend a period of display at a store and decrease the number of unsold articles for a package of wallpapers with undried paste whereon the undried paste is applied to a lining paper layer of the wallpaper with the surface of the undried paste covered with a release sheet by a method wherein a water retention agent is mixed with the undried paste. SOLUTION: Each of wallpapers with undried paste 1 hermetically packaged with a packaging material is formed of a wallpaper comprising a decorative layer 3 and a lining paper layer 2, an undried paste 4 applied to the lining piper layer 2, and a release sheet 6 for covering the undried paste 4. The surface of the decorative layer 3 may be covered with a surface film 5. The undried paste 4 applied to the lining paper layer 2 on the surface opposite to the decorative layer 3 is composed of a sticking agent formed of a starch, acrylic resin and the like and a water retention agent such as sodium lactate. The water retention agent is mixed with a material of the undried paste 4 in an amount of 0.5-5 wt.%. Thereby a period in which the undried paste 4 is not allowed to dry in a packaging material and a period for displaying articles at a store can be extended respectively.</p> |
