PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that the tackiness of a conventional pressure- sensitive adhesive tape using an SIS-based hot melt adhesive is generally lower than that of a rubber-based organic solvent type adhesive, and further to solve a problem that a means for reducing the content of a tackifier in the components of an adhesive as a tackiness-improving means can improve the tackiness but lowers the adhesive force to make it difficult to coat the adhesive due to the increase of the melt viscosity. SOLUTION: This hot melt adhesive comprising 100 pts.wt. of a branched block copolymer comprising a polystylene block and a polyisoprene block and 60 to 140 pts.wt. of a tackifier, is characterized in that the tackifier comprises 100 pts.wt. of an aliphatic petroleum-based tackifier and 3 to 20 pts.wt. of an aromatic petroleum-based tackifier.
