<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reducing a waste moisture capable of prolonging a lifetime of a deodorant by decreasing a fuel fee of a heat treating apparatus and alleviating a burden of an exhaust gas treating facility. SOLUTION: A cooling panel 13 is provided on the inner wall of a stocker 2 for storing the waste to be fed to the heat treating apparatus 1 like a waste incinerating furnace, a gasifying melting furnace or a refuse fuel solidifying apparatus. The method for reducing the waste comprises the steps of circulating a cooling medium obtained by operating a refrigerating machine 15 with the waste heat of the apparatus 1 as a heat source to the panel 13, condensing a moisture in the stocker, and taking out the condensed moisture from a water collecting trough 16. Thus, a drying effect, a cooling effect, an odor preventing effect and the like are provided.</p> |
