PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle position display for automatically judging whether the section of a rod that a driver traveled in the past was congested or not for displaying on a road map. SOLUTION: The vehicle position display comprises a map information section for storing map data, a position detection means for detecting the position of a vehicle, a display means for displaying the position of the vehicle and a map, a time-outputting means, a travel state discriminating means for judging whether the road is congested or not by calculating traveling time of certain distance based on the position of the vehicle and time information that is outputted from the time-outputting means, and comparing the traveling time with predetermined time and outputs discrimination data, a day-of-the-week output means for outputting a current day of the week, a day-of-the-weak zone discrimination means for outputting day-of-the-week zone data based on the current day of the week, a storage means for storing the discrimination data, and position data corresponding to the discrimination data along with the day-of- the-week data. A control means for controlling so that display based on the discrimination data corresponding to the day-of-the-week zone data and the position data is made on the display means. |
