PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear guide device having a sufficient heat radiating effect under a high vacuum by more effectively radiating heat accumulated between a slider and a rail. SOLUTION: The linear guide device 1 comprises the rail 2 having rail rolling element guide surfaces 3a, 3b, the saddle-shaped slider 4 having a slider rolling element guide surface opposed to the rail rolling element guide surfaces, and a rolling element for rolling on a load path formed by the rail rolling element guide surfaces and the slider rolling element guide surface.
