PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector, which is provided with a plurality of contacts 4 fixed at an insulation body 3 by an insert molding with a constant pitch, and with upper side plate faces of fixed parts 4a of the contacts 4 placed on the same face as an inner surface of a contact fixing part 3f of the body 3 and lower side plate faces placed in the contact fixing part 3f of the body 3, for enhancing fixing intensity of the contacts 4, without losing thinness of the contact fixing part 3f of the body 3, hardly deforming the contacts 4 even with molding pressure at insert molding, and without inducing insulation failures or the like even if deformation occurs. SOLUTION: In a fixed part 4a of each contact 4, a slanted part 4h making a part of an upper side plate face placed on the same surface as an inner surface of a contact fixing part 3f of a body 3 protruded aslant by cutting an edge up from a lower plate face, a hole part 4g as a remaining of cutting-up of the slanted part 4h, and a frame part 4i surrounding the hole part 4g, are formed.
