PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide; a resin composition for extrusion foam molding, which is suitable for the production of an extrusion foam molded product in which the rate of independent air bubbles is high; the extrusion foam molded product in which the rate of independent air bubbles is high; and a method for producing the extrusion foam molded product. SOLUTION: The resin composition for extrusion foam molding contains following components (A) and (B), wherein the content of the component (A) is 80-20 wt.% and the content of the component (B) is 20-80 wt.%, based on the total amount (100 wt.%) of the components (A) and (B). The component (A) is an ethylenic copolymer containing an ethylenic monomer unit and a monomer unit derived from a 3-20C α-olefin, and having a melt flow rate (MFR) of 0.01-5 g/10 min, a molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn), measured by gel permeation chromatography (GPC), of ≥5 and a flow activation energy of ≥40 kJ/mol.
