THE METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING FOR CORE BUILT IN SEAL

The present invention relates to a method to manufacture a core built in a seal and, more specifically, relates to the method to manufacture the core built in the seal with an improved strength by applying tension to the core passed through a rolling process. The method comprises: a first step of preparing a thin metal plate of a strip shape; a second step of forming a plurality of slits in a width direction of the metal plate to have a predefined distance from each other in a longitudinal direction; a third step of passing the metal plate formed with the slits to a first rolling roll to form a bent portion by bending a central part of the metal plate in one direction; a fourth step of applying tension to the metal plate by flattening the central part of the metal plate by passing through a second rolling roll; and a fifth step of widening gaps between the slits formed in a longitudinal direction of the metal plate, after reapplying tension to the metal plate by passing the metal plate through a third rolling roll. According to the present invention, the method has an advantage of preventing overconsumption of the materials compared to a punching method, by processing the core with the tensioning followed by rolling. Furthermore, the method is able to prevent breaking during tensioning by increasing the strength of the core, by the process of bending the core and flattening again.
