This ultrasonic examination device comprises: a plurality of transducers arranged in a row; a selection circuit that has a plurality of transducers selected from the plurality of transducers transmit an ultrasonic pulse and respectively receive a plurality of reception signals; and a digital signal processing circuit that adds combinations of timings of reception signals that have been weighted using corresponding weighting factors. The digital signal processing circuit varies the weighting factors according to the temporal position on the plurality of reception signals, in such a manner that the ratio between the plurality of weighting factors varies. |
