PURPOSE:To obtain a color photographic material capable of shortening the time for developing and giving sufficient color image density by incorporating a specific diffusion resistant coupler. CONSTITUTION:In a silver halide photographic sensitive material having at least one layer of a photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer on a supporting body, the diffusion resistant coupler expressed by a following formula is incorporated. Cp-(LINK)n-N(R1)-At(OR2)-X In the formula, Cp represents coupler residual group capable of releasing -(LINK)n-N(R1)-Ar(OR2)-X by the coupling reaction with an oxidized color developing main chemicals, LINK represents coupler residual group capable of cleaving -N(R1)-Ar(OR2)-X after the bond with Cp is cleaved, (n) represent 1 or 2, Ar represents allylene group, X represents amino group, alkoxyl group or hydroxyl group, R1 represents hydrogen atom or substituent, R2 represents alkyl group or allyl group.
