The shutter has a base plate (1) which is equipped with a shutter aperture (1a), an opening sector group (12), a closure sector group (16) and a number of arms (13,17) which have ends pivotably supported on the base plate. These arms swingably connect and support the individual sectors of the two groups, through the image of a parallel link mechanism. The sectors of both groups are formed so as to release and lock the shutter aperture. A thin section is provided to the edge area of the sectors, coming close to the connection parts of certain sectors and arms so as to prevent jamming of the sector motion.
