PURPOSE:To supply an electronic component to a transfer head with excellent operability by composing a tray supplying device by an oblique cam groove formed at the center of a cam member and vertical cam grooves formed on upper and lower parts of the oblique cam groove. CONSTITUTION:A cam member 11 is formed in a semitubular shape, a plurality of oblique cam grooves 12 (12a-12n) are formed at a predetermined pitch at the center of the inner surface, and vertical cam grooves 13, 14 are formed at the upper and lower parts of the grooves 12. When ball threads 1 are rotated, nuts 2 are vertically moved up or down along the threads. When a cam follower 15 is guided by a vertical cam groove, the nuts are vertically moved at a low speed, but when the follower 15 is guided by the grooves 12, the nuts 2 are guided by the oblique cam groove to be rotated around its own axis, and hence the vertically moving speed of the nuts is increased, and the interval of tray holders is increased. Then, a transfer head is introduced from the gap to take up an electronic component of a tray held by the holder 6, and moved toward a board. |
