摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas diffusion electrode-gas chamber integrated electrode of a liquid immersion type for forming an oxygen cathode which is easily mountable at the conventional electrolytic cell as well and has high long-term stability. SOLUTION: The gas diffusion electrode 1-gas chamber integrated electrode 1 of the liquid immersion type has a structure in which a gas supply port 10 of a gas supply pipe 9 connected to a gas inlet 6 of the gas chamber 4 and a gas discharge port 12 of a gas discharge pipe 11 connected to a gas outlet 7 of the gas chamber are respectively opened in the liquid in a position lower than the gas chamber 4 and the gas supply port is disposed lower than the gas discharge port to prevent the entry of an electrolyte into the gas chamber 4 at the time of gas supply. The gas is supplied to the gas supply port of the gas supply pipe 9 and the gas in the gas chamber is discharged into the liquid from the gas discharge port of the gas discharge pipe, by which the supply and discharge of the gas are executed. A plurality of the integrated electrodes are longitudinally arranged in a vertical direction and the gas discharge ports of the lower electrodes and the gas supply port of the upper electrodes are connected by perforated pipes.
