PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tapping method by which a continuous operation is possible, while adhesion in a nozzle stopper occurring directly after the start of tapping is prevented, and the molten metal is prevented from making a turbulent flow, in a cold crucible induction melting apparatus. SOLUTION: In the induction-melting apparatus, a melting coil is provided on the outside periphery of a crucible body having a tapping nozzle comprising a water cooled copper-segment on the bottom. On the outside periphery of the tapping nozzle, there is provided a coil for heating the tapping nozzle. At the time of tapping, a skull layer formed in the upper part of the nozzle stopper put in the nozzle is melted from the molten metal side in the crucible.
