PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a breathable packaging bag which can prevent a collapse of cargo piles and bag breakage caused by a fall etc. from occurring because the packaging bag slips due to the destabilization of the bulky stacked packaging bags, by smoothly discharging air, enclosed in the packaging bag, out of the packaging bag, when bag bodies are stacked for transportation and storage by storing and packaging grain crops such as rice, which eliminates problems associated with manufacture, such as the management of a bag manufacturing process for applying partial adhesion to the packaging bag and the switching of a packaging machine, and which does not put restrictions on a material constituting the packaging bag. SOLUTION: In this breathable packaging bag for storing the grain crops such as the rice as contents, upper and lower ends, with a predetermined length, of a side seal part in the longitudinal direction of the breathable packaging bag are composed of a normal linear seal part, and a central part, with a predetermined length, of the side seal part in the longitudinal direction of the bag, except the upper and lower ends, is composed of a pattern seal part with a special shape that a communicating ventilation passage is formed.
