<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a restaurant fare adjustment system for efficiently executing fare adjustment processing by quickly and accurately performing fare adjustment. <P>SOLUTION: This restaurant fare adjustment system is provided with a container 3 with an RFID reader/writer 6 for storing merchandise inside, and for unlocking a door by reading the RFID number of an RFID card 2, and for writing the purchase history of merchandise in the RFID card 2 and a fare adjustment unit 5 with an RFID reader/writer for performing fare adjustment processing based on the purchase history written in the RFID card 2.
