<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart excellent preservation stability, sufficient jetting stability even during long-term service and bright color-developability to a cyan ink for inkjet recording and to impart good light resistance and ozone resistance to recorded matter using the same. <P>SOLUTION: In the cyan ink for inkjet recording comprising at least a colorant, water and a water-soluble organic solvent, a dye represented by general formula (1) and a dye represented by general formula (2) are jointly used as the colorant.
