PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmitting device preventing the occurrence of noises. SOLUTION: This power transmitting device 1 is provided with: a planetary carrier 10; a gear case 60 engaged with the planetary carrier 10 and stopping the rotation of the carrier 10; a friction member 130 abutting on the carrier 10; a spring member 120 energizing the friction member 130 toward the carrier 10; and a coil spring 110 interposed between the carrier 10 and the gear case 60 and expanded/contracted in the rotational direction of the carrier 10.
