A speaker identification method of identifying a speaker with a speaker identification system including a processor and a memory storing thereon a control program, said method comprising: a speech acquisition step of acquiring speech information of a speaker; an age information acquisition step of judging, with the speaker identification system including the processor, whether the age of the speaker is equal to a specific age, based on the speech information acquired in the speech acquisition step, and acquiring specific age information when it is judged that the age of the speaker is equal to the specific age; a date and time information acquisition step of acquiring date and time information representing a date and time when the speech information has been acquired in the speech acquisition step; an information accumulation step of accumulating the specific age information acquired in the age information acquisition step, and the date and time information acquired in the date and time information acquisition step in association with each other when the specific age information is acquired in the age information acquisition step; and an information managing step of updating the specific age information accumulated in the information accumulation step in accordance with the number of years elapsed from the date and time indicated by the date and time information accumulated in association with the specific age information.
