PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating method to improve stains after continuous process and to improve changes with humidity, heat and time even in such a process that the total amt. of a replenisher for the treating liquid is decreased and the treating time is decreased. SOLUTION: A color photosensitive material having at least each one layer of red-sensitive, green-sensitive and blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer on a base body is exposed to light for an image, treated with a color developer and treated with a liquid having a fixing function. In this method, the amt. of silver in the emulsion applied on the photosensitive material is specified to a range between >=3.3g/m<2> and <=6.3g/m<2> and the amt. of iodine applied is specified to a range between >=1.0×10<-3> mol/m<2> and <=3.2×10<-3> mol/m<2> . The color developer does not substantially contain hydroxyl amine.
