Disclosed is the use of a compound of formula (I) in the manufacture of a medicament for the treatment of checkpoint kinase 1 in a cell, wherein: X1 is O, S CH2, or N(R1), X2 is O, S or N(R1), Y is O or S, W is optionally substituted pyrazine, and Z is optionally substituted phenyl. Also disclosed are compounds of formula (II), for which the substituents are defined herein.
