LUBRICANT APPLYING APPARATUS, PROCESS CARTRIDGE, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant applying apparatus where a lubricant can be smoothly moved in a pressurizing direction in press contact with an apply roller while keeping a prescribed attitude, to provide a process cartridge and an image forming apparatus equipped with the lubricant applying apparatus.

SOLUTION: Regarding the lubricant applying apparatuses 30 and 40 for applying the lubricant 31 on an image carrier 7, the apparatus includes the lubricant apply roller 32 arranged between the image carrier 7 and the lubricant 31, and a pressurizing means 33 for pressurizing the lubricant 31 against the lubricant apply roller 32, and the pressurizing means 33 is provided with a guiding member 36 for guiding the lubricant 31 as prescribed in the pressurizing direction so that the lubricant 31 may come close to the lubricant apply roller 32.
