PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reaping apparatus for a combine harvester capable of smoothly transporting reaped grain culms by a plant foot side conveyor and a tip side conveyor, improving the efficiency of reaping operation, simplifying the transmission constitution of both the conveyors, inexpensively providing them and compactly constituting the whole length of the machine body of a combine harvester. SOLUTION: An upper horizontal transmission shaft 61 for driving plural raising apparatuses 7 in a linked state is arranged at a position higher than the top of the raising apparatuses 1. The plural raising apparatuses 7 are driven through upper longitudinal transmission shafts 66 and 89 installed downward from the upper horizontal transmission shaft 61. On the other hand, an ear tip side conveyor 11a is driven through lower longitudinal transmission shafts 81 and 106 installed downward from the upper longitudinal transmission shafts 66 and 89. Further, the upper longitudinal transmission shafts 66 and 89 are installed in a steep slope position more standing than the raising apparatuses 7 while being supported between the unsaturated horizontal transmission shaft 61 and the back upper side of the raising apparatuses 7 and the lower longitudinal transmission shafts 81 and 106 are installed in a downward slope position in the opposite direction to the raising apparatuses 1 while being supported on the back upper side of the raising apparatuses 7. |
