PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet carrying device, prevented from causing positional deviation of sheets at their tips to be carried in an overlapped manner. SOLUTION: First sheets 51a, 51b of prescribed size and second sheets 52 of half size of the first sheets are carried via a laterally carrying belt 17 provided on a binding machine 11 with the first sheets 51a, 51b being overlapped on the second sheet 52. A stopper 18 is provided for stopping the carriage of the first and second sheets along the laterally carrying belt 17 so that their tips may be are aligned, and a feeding plate 20 and a trusting protrusion 21 are provided on the laterally carrying belt 17 for thrusting the first and second sheets at their rear ends, respectively, to the direction of carriage. The stopper 18 is rotationally movable. Fig. shows that stop of the carriage of the sheets is released. |
