PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the durability and reliability of a pressure reducing valve device used for water heater. SOLUTION: This pressure reducing valve device with check valve used for water heater comprises a primary check valve on the primary side of a pressure reducing valve for reducing water pressure to a prescribed pressure and a secondary check valve on the secondary side of the pressure reducing valve. Accordingly, even if the pressure of the internal piping of a water heater is excessively raised by the residual heat of the water hater, the transmission of the excessive pressure to the secondary side of the pressure reducing valve can be prevented by the secondary check valve.
