The element (2) has a backing layer (10) and a covering layer (9) connected with each other to form a closed bag. A preliminary stage of plastic polymerized with electromagnetic radiation i.e. photo polymer (11), is enclosed in the bag. The covering layer is made of cast PVC, and the backing layer is made of polyester. The backing layer has coating of polymer material i.e. PVC-polyvinyl acetate-copolymer, in direct contact with the preliminary stage of plastic. The coating supports adhesion of the backing layer to the plastic formed from the preliminary stage. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for producing a relief pattern of a printing plate for a stamp using an element i.e. photopolymer-unit (2) a device for producing a relief pattern of a printing plate for a stamp.
