The invention relates to an apparatus for monitoring of a device (20) having a moveable part, especially a rotating device (20), the apparatus comprising: a control module (10) configured to receive a measured vibration signal (12) of the device (20) provided by a sensor connected with the device (20), provide a spectrum (14) of the measured vibration signal ( 12), pre-process the spectrum (14), in order to determine base frequencies (16) and side frequencies ( 18), wherein base frequencies (16) are frequencies which peak power corresponds to eigen frequencies of the device (20) or faulty frequencies, and wherein side frequencies (18) correspond to the other frequencies, process the base frequencies (16) and the side frequencies (18) by applying separately a one-class classification (22) on the base frequencies (16) and side frequencies ( 18), combine (26) the results of the one-class classifications (22) thereby obtaining a classification signal (24) which represents a confidence level, and output a decision support signal based on the classification signal (24), which decision support signal indicates an error status of the device (20) monitored. |
