<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode assembly capable of easily confirming the history of production processes such as a production facility, a production date, a worker, and a production line, and preventing the use of a reproduction product, and to provide a lithium secondary battery using the electrode assembly. <P>SOLUTION: The lithium secondary battery is formed by winding a positive plate 21 in which a positive tab 26 is connected to a positive electrode uncoated area 21c to which a positive active material 21b is not applied, of a positive current collector 21a, a negative plate 23 in which a negative tab 27 is connected to a negative electrode uncoated area 23c to which a negative active material 23b is not applied, of a negative current collector 23a, and a separator 22 interposed between the positive plate 21 and the negative plate 23 for insulating them, and contains the electrode assembly 20 in which an identification display is attached to at least one of the positive tab 26, the negative tab 27, and the positive electrode uncoated area 21c, and the negative electrode uncoated area 23c, a can for housing the electrode assembly 20, and a can assembly for being joined to the upper part of the can. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
