PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate machining of a support member and a cam ring by a method wherein containing holes are disposed at equal angles in a peripheral direction or containing hole pairs are disposed on the straight line in the radial direction of a support member. SOLUTION: A cam ring 20 is formed integrally with the drive shaft 11 of a high pressure fuel feed pump 10, the cam ring 20 is disposed in such a manner to surround the outer periphery of a support member 31, and four receiving holes 34 are radially formed radially externally from the center of the cross section of the support member 31. The receiving holes 34 are disposed at equal angles in a peripheral direction or a pair of the receiving holes 34 positioned facing each other are formed on the straight line in the radial direction of each support members 31. Since structure where the forced feed of fluid is effected through rotation of the cam ring 20 is employed, this constitution eliminates a fear of an oil film between the support member 31 and the cam ring 20 being broken and seized, improves reliability on a pump, and facilitates machining of the support member 31 and the cam ring 20. |
