<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly illuminate a dial in a measuring instrument provided with a front face cover of a dark color inclined with respect to the dial. <P>SOLUTION: In this illumination structure provided with a pointer 7, the dial 8 provided in a backside of the pointer 7, a plurality of point light sources 9b for transmission-illuminating the dial 8 and provided on the back side of the dial 8, the front face cover 18 of the dark color provided on a front face of the dial 8 to be inclined with respect to the dial 8, an interval D3 between the plurality of point light sources 9b for illuminating a dial 8 portion corresponding to a long portion by a distance L2 between the dial 8 and the front face cover 18 is shortened compared with an interval D1 between the plurality of point light sources 9b for illuminating a dial 8 portion corresponding to a short portion by a distance L1 between the dial 8 and the front face cover 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
