PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agricultural work vehicle for paddy fields capable of leveling the track of a wheel formed by the turning operation of the machine body near a levee side while reducing the load on an operator applied by the turning operation. SOLUTION: This agricultural work vehicle 1 for paddy fields is provided with a machine body 1a traveling and turning on a paddy field, a working part 7 attached to the machine body 1a in a liftable and lowerable manner and performing a paddy field vegetation work at a prescribed working height, a float 15 integrated to the working part 7 and controlling the height of the working part 7 by detecting the ground level of the vegetation work while leveling the vegetation ground of the paddy field, and a controller to control the lifting and lowering motion and the operation motion of the working part 7. The controller stops the operation of the working part 7 before starting the turning of the machine body, lifts and keeps the working part 7 at a non-working height for turning the machine body, and lowers the working part to the working height in a turning step after a lowering timing set by a timing setting means placed in the controller.
