<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst for producing ethylene oxide with high selectivity and to provide a manufacturing method of ethylene oxide using the same. <P>SOLUTION: In the catalyst for producing ethylene oxide having catalyst components supported on the carrier, it is characterized by employing the carrier in which α-alumina is used as a main component and at least two peaks exist at a range of 0.01-100 μm of the pore diameter in the pore distribution by mercury porosimetry and one of the two peaks exists in a range of 0.1-1.0 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
