<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle drive device reducing noise by varying the natural frequency of a case to avoid resonance in the case. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle drive device comprises: a case 21 accommodating a first motor generator 35 and a second motor generator 36; a first cooling device 37 having coolant storing parts 16, 17 and a coolant filling part 31 for filling cooling water into the coolant storing parts 16, 17; a case oscillation detecting means 48 for detecting the oscillating frequency of the case 21; and a filling amount controlling means 45 for controlling the amount of cooling water to be filled into the coolant storing parts 16, 17, based on the oscillating frequency of the case 21 detected by the case oscillation detecting means 48. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
