PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid electric vehicle that can prevent prolongation of a design period and increase in design/manufacturing costs and reduce input/output friction loss with respect to a motor.SOLUTION: The hybrid electric vehicle comprises: an engine (2); a transmission (5) to which is connected output of the engine and which changes speed of the vehicle; a propeller shaft (6) one end of which is connected to the transmission; a differential gear (7) to be connected to the other end of the propeller shaft; two drive shafts (8a and 8b) to be connected respectively to the propeller shaft through the differential gear; driving wheels (9a and 9b) to be connected to the two drive shafts respectively; and three electric motors (10a, 11a and 12a), provided at the propeller shaft and the two drive shafts respectively, which can act as a driving source for the vehicle and also generate power.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
