A probe 1 for measuring lip closure force is equipped with: a hollow balloon 10 to be crushed and deformed by the lip closure force, the hollow balloon 10 being arranged between the upper lip 50 and lower lip 51 of a measurement subject; and a base 20 connected to a pressure-measuring device for measuring the pressure inside the balloon 10. The balloon 10 is provided with a fixed portion 13 sandwiched between the teeth 52, 53 or gums of the measurement subject.
